Was trying to do something different with the petals of a white Persian violet bloom. I could not isolate the bloom from the other blooms in the planting, but not sure if that matters or not. Does this shot work on any level or should I have moved on to something else?

Who would be better to handle a complex GC case Murthy or Rajiv's office.
Any experience? I am looking for somebody who is responsive and can handle difficult queries from USCIS, if need be. How much do they charge for complete EB case?

I'm facing a frustrating issue and am hoping that someone can provide help on this. I'm on my H1 10th year extn. My I-140 (EB-3) was recently approved and I cannot apply for I-485 as the visa dates are not available. My Company recently changed their name from ABC, doing business as XYZ, to DEF, doing business as XYZ (the doing business as part of the name is the same and there was no merger, just a name change).
My first question is does this invalidate my approved I-140 and should I refile the I-140. Also, when I file my H-1 extension what document should I provide to prove the name change (or is it even needed?)? Any help on these 2 questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why isn't IV a national member of the Reform Immigration for America Campaign? If you take a look at the list of participating organizations Organizations � Reform Immigration For America (http://reformimmigrationforamerica.org/about/organizations/) you'll only see that the TX state chapter has signed on. Core group, could one of you take a look and sign-up? Would IV consider cooridnating events with them during 2010?
I saw the list and all organizations want to give citizenship to undocumented. We are all documented.

I was employed by company A until from 2004 thru May'07 with labor and I140 approved in 2006, I was laid off from Company A in May'07 therefore I joined company B in June (transfered my H1).
In July , Company A agreed to file my I485 under future employment as all the EB catagories became current but I still work for company B (H1 with company B), now since in Jan'08 it will be past 180 days on my 485 application.
Can I file AC21 to change my employer to Company B and continue my I485 through to Company B?
Your suggestions/answers will be appreciated.

We know we have our largest membership in CA. Well over a hundred members. Yet there are only about 10 active members. And yes, these 10 are extraordinarily dynamic, but we need more. In particular we need more members in SoCal.
Those of you who have already signed up as volunteers -- please attend the weekly call this Thursday at 9pm PST. Once you are on the call, please speak up, take the initiative and work on something.
Respond to the weekly emails.
- Convince at least one more person to become a member
- Convince at least one more person to contribute
- Post our flyers in your neighborhood or workplace
- Come up with other ways to get the word out
- Join a lawmaker team
- Start a lawmaker team and make an appointment
IV cannot run without your help and fervour.

Just got 3 transfer notices from CSC saying applcations transfered to NSC. Applcations reached July23rd at NSC. 140 approved from TSC.
Anybody in similar situation....

Below is what I think to your three case scenario:
Case 1: According to the USCIS's rule of last action, whichever petition or application came out last is your new non-immigrant status. So if your H1b transfer gets approved first and then your H-1B -> F1 gets approved, you are in F-1, or vice versa. But then if your first H1B has already expired before you turn in your F-1 application, it gets a little complicated. In that case, the F-1 application cannot be approved before the H1B transfer is approved.
case 2: If your first H1B is still valid, then it is ok if your H1B transfer is denied. If your first H1B is expired already before your submit your F-1 application, and your H1B transfer gets denied, you could be out of status.
case 3: If your H1B transfer is approved, and F-1 application is denied, you are still in H1B.
There is an article discussing authorized stay and authorized status which relates to your questions: Differences Between “Authorized Status” and “Authorized Stay” (http://www.us-immigrationvisa.com/article/differences-between-authorized-status-and-authorized-stay)

An investigative report by National Public Radio today sheds light on the behind-the-scenes effort to help draft and pass Arizona�s immigration law SB1070 by the private prison industry. Dear Fellow Posters
After 12 months of toil I have finally completed the narrative and evidence that I need for an EB-1a (Extraordinary Alien) application. I ab about to complete the I-140 paperwork to go with it.
My questions is this - I have contacted a small number of Immigration attorneys who have quoted me approx $6000 for the whole process. How many of you value think that USCIS would look at my application more favourably if I used a reputed attorney rathen than putting in my own application and paperwork ?

concurrent filing means filing of I-140 and I-485 together not two I-140s.
why do you want to put false data on your profile? such as EB1 at Perm stage with 2000 priority date?
