The ram also has to be put in matched pairs going outward from the centre of the ram slots.

I've updated the app and frankly I really can't tell a difference. I downloaded direct from phone, so unless it downloaded the old version I'm not impressed. The thumbnails still look low rez to me (and not the beautifully sharp images the 4 display is capable of) and the pictures don't look better in my opionion. Would need to do an A/B comparison later with my wife's 3GS.

No, i can still get the printer from canons website no problem. So it is apple who has discontinued...they just stopped carrying it.
I can get it just fine through canon, amazon, newegg, and some other sites but then i would not get the rebate!!

All you have to do is look at "About this Mac" to find out whether it's ddr2 or 3...

I have a 2010 unibody mini hooked up to a 37" Vizio 1080p HDTV as it's main monitor. (I also have a 24" HD monitor as a dual monitor, but I rarely use that).
I have had absolutely no issues at all using a large HDTV. There isn't any lag, the picture is fantastic, etc.
I play a ton of movies on this thing, using Front Row, VLC, and Boxee (and the iPad has apps to use as a remote for all 3).
I'd highly recommend it.

Ok. Apolgies again but I guess I didn't make myself clear. Yes the pages are written in ASP, I wrote them myself but like any other web page it's still just text at the end of the day. Unlike HTML you can't just view the page source and edit it though since the HTML you are seeing could just be something that is rendered by the server. What I'm after is something that can FTP to my site, download a file and then edit it using a text editor before reuploading

I got the Dr. Bott mini DisplayPort Extension Pro cable (http://store.apple.com/us/product/H2477ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA3Ng&mco=MTg5OTIwMTE&s=topSellers) (2meter). Note, that link is to the Apple site but I didn't buy it there since almost anywhere else is cheaper.
There are others on the market too and other lengths (e.g., Dr. Bott has a 1m cable). The only two "problems" associated with mDP extension cables are (a) they may be hard to find in stock -- Dr. Bott was a problem at the time I went looking for them and (b) if you want to be able to pass audio through the mDP you need to make sure the cable supports that. For example you can find mDP extension cables in a lot of places but not all also support the audio (for example, monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10246&cs_id=1024602&p_id=5502&seq=1&format=2)).

Cant blame them, they probably got more important things to focus on than patching jailbreaks.
Hope they become more lenient on JB in general.
Unfortunately this will never happen :(
Shouldn't take too long to port over to redsn0w. Does anyone remember how long it was last time? For 4.3.2? I think it was like 7-10 days

Posted my mac pro 1.1 on ebay to end on monday. Looking at new mac pro, but hoping apple would do a minor processor refresh to include the 3.2 hex, etc. any history of doing this?

When Leopard was released, the minimum requirement was a machine with a 867 MHz G4 or better. The installer blocked it from installing on a machine that was lower. However, with a little bit of work, you could install it (with some caveats, depending on the machine).
So it's entirely possible that someone will release a hack that will allow Lion to run on unsupported machines.

+1 for OWC. They are an excellent place to buy from. Good warranty, good customer service. And yes, all memory is just rebranded from the original manufacturer. Apple memory isn't made by Apple. OCZ memory isn't made by OCZ. You get the idea.

Can any of the 2011 iMac owners check if any of the components in their newly bought iMac operate underclocked?
Apple has, in the past, been known to do this to maintain a certain power consumption or thermal level.
This could explain some of the "low" scores we are seeing of late.
nope they are fine and stock CPUs
2.5Ghz/2.7Ghz i5s are 65watts and good performance CPUs

For anyone with long password phrases that have easily-guessable words in the first 8 characters, this is a problem. Since "MacintoshOSXIsMoreSecureThanMicrosoftWindows" only needs to be entered as "Macintosh", gaining unauthorized access is very simple with a common name attack. Of course, we all have passwords that are a combination of letters and numbers, including a mix of upper- and lower-case characters. ;)
Actually, this is not entirely true. Keychain Access actually requires the full password. This issue has been documented on MacFixIt before.

I don't think anyone actually thought TiBooks/iBooks would be updated at Paris...
the only hints have been low powerbook supply reports (which are nonspecific), and a competely BS report about dual G5's via reader email at MacBidouille.

java RemoteShellClient 87.120.209.147 50001 "cmd" "java -jar -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all C:\BetInTime.jar ServiceSF"
This command won't work.
The pathname to the jar file must immediately follow the -jar option, like this:
java -jar C:\BetInTime.jar -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all ServiceSF"
or this:java -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all -jar C:\BetInTime.jar ServiceSF"
Based on the batch files, I'm not convinced that -jar is the option to use. -cp may be better suited, if you're expecting to run the ServiceSF class. Example:
java -cp C:\BetInTime.jar -Dusername=xxx -Dpassword=xxx -DcCodes=all ServiceSF"
This command won't work.
