Backstory - I ran the service department for a small regional computer chain in the mid 80s and Apple was our main brand. While I was there, I brought home this banner and poster and have dragged them along with me everywhere I've gone for 25 years.
Now I'm curious about them. I've searched eBay but don't see any similar for sale. Does anyone here recognize these? Any idea what they might be worth?
...thanks...
Poster - 22"x28" in aluminum frame with clear plastic cover.

uh ok, it's a grey page with a blue box and an cold play video
Sorry man I'm not very impressed, it's clean and simple yes, but the darkish coloured text on the blue box doesn't really have alot of contrast, sure you can read it but it certanly doesn't jump out at you. Plus I've never been a big fan of super minimalist design, add some gradiants!
The text colour needs to be adjusted a bit but here's the direction I'd take it.
hmm..well the colours i've used are taken from coldplay's own artwork. i'm glad it doesn't attract attention..that'd distract people from seeing the video.
anyway, i simply wanted an alternative page to direct specific ad runs to as opposed to a blog posting. and while you may not find a coldplay ad interesting - 22,000 other people did. :)
but thanks for the advice.
note: attached is how it looks (in case i pull the page, this thread would be useless)

Now of your budget is over 1k then we can talk better cameras ;)
say its 1 to 2k, and the output is for vimeo HD, or a 135" PJ, via iMovie or FCE, what would you kindly recommend?

Ga I wish Bartlesville schools had at least a few macs that weren't from 1998. If only they new what potential could come of putting a little bit of creativity into the classroom instead of working on cheap Dells with outdated software. I mean the computers at my school don't even have Cd burners when I was writing the school paper they expected us to use floppy discs all the time. At least Apple finally put an Apple Store in Tulsa can't wait for friday.

9. What does the settlement provide?
NVIDIA has agreed to provide a replacement of the NVIDIA GPU or MCP to Class Members who purchased certain versions of some Dell, Inc. or Apple Inc. notebook computers that contain an NVIDIA chip and who send in a valid Claim Form and appropriate supporting documentation.
NVIDIA has also agreed to provide a fund in the amount of $2,000,000 to provide reimbursements if you purchased a version of one of the notebook computer models identified in the Full Notice that contains an NVIDIA GPU or MCP during the dates listed in the Full Notice experienced certain identified symptoms, and have appropriate documentation proving that you paid to have the notebook computer repaired. The amount of reimbursement may depend on the number of reimbursement claims received.
(note: edited down for clarity)
22. How will the lawyers be paid?
Class Counsel will ask the Court for attorneys’ fees and expenses in the amount of $13,000,000. NVIDIA will pay Class Counsel’s fees and expenses. These amounts will not come out of any funds for payments to Class Members. NVIDIA has agreed not to oppose these fees and expenses.
So, the buyers gets a new chip and a split on the 2 mill... the lawyers get $13 mill... HOW many hours did you say they worked?

Given that you already know PHP and javascript, you just need help with the Python syntax. I looked up removing duplicate lines in a file on google:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=python+remove+duplicate+lines+from+a+file
I got this hit:
http://metadeveloper.blogspot.com/2007/07/remove-duplicate-lines-in-python.html
Or this:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1215208/how-might-i-remove-duplicate-lines-from-a-file
Try that and start building up your scripts from there.

Why not just make a website ? What you describe sounds like it would be more appropriate as a good old website that is device agnostic than a native app anyhow.
A lot of apps on the App Store right now are mostly things people could have just put up on the web.

I bought this immediately once I saw the sale price. I love djay on my MacBook, but I didn't want to spend $5 on the iPhone version, so I kept holding out for a sale. Thanks to Algoriddim.

I suppose, but I still don't dance on mondays, tuesdays, and either friday, saturday.
5 times a week is my limit, I don't want to hurt myself or anything. :p
I don't have to worry about hitting that though. Mondays and Tuesdays are very busy days for me, and I usually pass out at the end of the day.

Tell you what mate, if you ever come to London I'll take you out dancing.
Here in the civilised world you can drink from 18 so there are no 18/21 divides in clubs :)

Yep. When I'm running a Winterboard theme, I'll get banner adds at the top, behind the icons, on my springboard after closing certain apps.
I can reproduce 100% of the time with an app called 'Speedometer FREE' from the Apple app store. Quick respring cures it.
iP4, 4.3.2, redsn0w.

As a compromise, I say use of more than 3 punctuation marks in a no-no. Unless the MR poster has been named SJ's replacement. I'll also make allowance for anyone replacing Schiller, Ive or Cook

I have seen posts in which people ask about gaming on the mac without windows, using multiple monitors, or thinking of upgrading to a mac pro. None of these accurately describe my problem. I know that mac os x does not support crossfire.
I have a 2009 mac pro. I use os X for everything except gaming. The 5770 does what I need it to do on the mac side. Gaming under bootcamp with windows 7 is not as good as I would like. I will only be using one ACD 27" and no other monitor. I do not wish to put a 2nd PSU in the 2nd optical bay slot.
So, should I order another 5770 and use it in crossfire or sell the 5770 that I have and upgrade to the 5870. As I recall, crossfire is not a mobo thing. If this has been answered before, I apologize in advance.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
DocT

Didn't get the ad screen for me but I've stopped visiting SpyMac a loong time ago.
And yes I hate those animated adverts, makes me vow to never buy the product that's being advertising. Had an odd situation on another website awhile ago, where the page would never render correctly in Safari when a Microsoft Office banner came up. If it was any other ad then the page would render fine, if it was Microsoft's turn then I would have to use Firefox...conspiracy I tell you! :p

I am at UConn am was thinking of going but now i hear the coop may be selling it for only $70 so I will have to look into that before driving and paying more.
Is this confirmed yet? I'm at UCONN as well and was just going to head down to WestFarms but if the Co-op will have it for $60 cheaper then I'll wait!

XCode 4 looks like its going to take a big step foward. Hopefully as large as the one between ProjectBuilder and XCode.
I'm really looking forward to this. Any know of a possible release date?
I think WWDC or a Apple iOS Event Preview (so 2011), Apple will likely make sure they get it right and release that along with the new iOS 5 or Mac OS X 10.7.
Apple is in no rush to hurry something as important as this. A buggy IDE = Fail for Apple and a slow down in iPad iPhone iTouch and Mac Apps.

I know some friends going - apparently, there's no "reservation" vs "walk in" line at AT&T
There's a ton of ATT stores out there too

You're probably good for at least another 5 years haha. With counsels holding back pc games because they are mostly ported over. I can't image you would have to upgrade anytime soon.

Really? I think they're great. I've had much better service with them compared to the Apple stores, hands down.
Maybe I just had a bad experience...
