This is totally off subject but...
Still cannot laugh. My wife (Japanese) said it was not funny and must have been written by a Kanto comedian. If a Kansai comedian had written it, it would have been funnier.
Actually, it is the taste of Kanto (around Tokyo) not that of Kansai (around Osaka). But for the image of Apple in Japan, Kansai plot is not suitable, I guess. Because the image of Kansai is not cool.
As a native Japanese, good one is iLife one (someone calls it "iRife" BTW).

Capacitive home button sounds believable as apple has gone away with buttons on the MacBooks trackpad. Apple likes touch, not clicking. Lol
The button on the MacBook trackpad is still a physical button; it's just that the entire trackpad clicks, rather than a small area at the bottom.

I thought of this idea a couple of years ago. glad to see it taking shape for apple. think about it. zero heat cpus and ultra-long battery life.

Typical of a company that has no business model right now; become a patent troll. Kind of a shame, Kodak used to be a great company, but they got left behind by the digital revolution.

Gamestop said they'll have a demo kiosk the day after the launch...
Yep, tried one out yesterday, local store had a demo unit. The build quality is pretty good, although it looks very plastic and childlike compared to the iPhone/iPod Touch/NGP that are much more 'adult'.
I couldn't see the 3D as expected (vision problems in one eye), but the other half wasn't overly impressed. The re-focusing needed to go from the bottom screen to the top is just tiring on the eyes, and you really do have to hold the 3DS at a specific angle to get the effect.
The augmented reality was pretty cool (even without 3D) though, but certainly not enough to sell me a console.

Not a surprise, really. I would be quite shocked if the MacBook/MBP lines were not updated before the holiday season, so I'm sure there's some truth to this report. The question, as always, is when. I'd really like to see new models before the end of October... :cool:

Unfortunately, her PC only has a CD drive, so I cannot do that. I will look into getting Dave. I'm buying extra Ethernet cables anyway, to network all the computers and the DSL modem.

Well people prefer to buy AT&T right now, hence out of stock and goin for much more on ebay, soo the stats are wrong...
They obviously polled people in non-AT&T markets, who live in the mid-west, who wouldn't buy one anyway.

No they're not. I've listened to ATC transmissions on Delta and Alaska Air too... Then again, it's been a few years since I've flown anyone other than United, Southwest and Frontier and of those three, United is the only doing it.

There is nothing TV does that one of these other things doesn't do better.

Considering how corporations screwed up when it came to administering home loans, you think they'll do any better with your private information?
Talk about a bad idea.
So the fact that AT&T can currently know everything about you from miles away is ok, but if they add a chip that works for 30 or 40 feet...that's a problem?

And here people were hoping something would come along and topple the iPod. I had to check the Zune out for myself, it's basically dull-finished 1st Gen iPod clone. And now with iPod friendly skies, the bastardized iTurd will have very rough waters venture through. Go Apple. :D

I agree that that is how he came off as. It's too bad that he didn't have an image consultant, and if he did, they did a piss poor job.
He probably would have done a good job if they won, but we'll never know.

Also, Steve wears the same close because he has better things to think about in the morning than what to wear. That's my understanding. Hell, I wear the same thing for the same reason.
I agree that it's a side street, but don't think it's Bryant. My CA office is just off Bryant, so I've walked it up and down and can't place it. The reflection is what suggests a side street to me.

Seriously? A few MB's of RAM saved is worth over double the price? I'm not bashing Apple here, I love my Mac and I love OS X, but Windows 7 with an antivirus runs a hell of a lot smoother on my iMac than Snow Leopard does. When you take that into account, it pales into insignificance does running an antivirus.
Not to mention that plenty of OS X users now use an antivirus, despite there being no real need to.
