What is the minimum requirement for EB2? From what I read, it's BS+5yrs, or MS+1yr.
1. Is there a rule that the experience should have been gained outside of the US?
2. Is there a rule that the number of years experience should be from an employer other than the petitioning employer?

That depends on whether you were subject to a 2-year home residence requirement because of being in J-1 status. If you were subject to this requirement, and didn't fulfill it or get a waiver, you need to do one or the other before you get permanent residence approved.

masala_dosa, this is my understanding. once you have applied for EAD, its your responsibility to keep it valid all the time, independent of if you are using the EAD or NOT. You have to appy for renewals before it expires etc. i dont know if it impacts the current gc process or not.
two scenarios:
If you are using EAD for your current job, and if you did not renew ( or alteast file for renew) before it expires you may notbe able to continue the job.
If you are NOT using EAD, but have an EAD on hand you are supposed to keep it valid.
once again - im not an attorney and all above were my understanding.
why dont you talk to your attorney. he/she may have a simple answer for this.

Sorry you cannot claim. You have been a resident of GA, so rent/meals/commutation/laundry cannot be claimed as deductions in Tax return. You never had a home in NY/NJ. You will surely be a RED flag for IRS. Dont do wrong things to get some money. State the truth and be satisfied of the tax return you get.
However, you can surely ask your employer to give a part of your salary as expense reimbursement, which is legal.
Trust me, you get more tax return here in US, than in India.

My friend do not dream for EB3 approval until EB-2 get current. I lost my hope for GC just use EAD.

The lizard is well exposed, but the composition bothers me some. Feels out of balance to the left because of the cactus. The flower & lily pads are very nice, but I really like the butterfly. Good subject isolation and vibrant color.

Do we get a notice to get biometrics done when you apply for EAD renewal?
My wife and I have a EAD renewal RD of June 23, 2008 at NSC. We have not gotten any LUD after that. Anybody knows how long it takes to get the EAD?

e-filed on June 8/08 FP notice on Jun/14th and FP on July 8th. No update after that.
Usually u shld get ur FP notice within 3 weeks.

I believe a majority of those problems are for H1-B's that are consultants and move around on different projects. In your case it appears like you have a stable and consistent role given that you have been with the same employer for so long. Hope this helps.
