LOVE IT. What is that case?
I got a couple questions about the case. Let me check when I get home!
13" Mba and 11.6" New MBA have very similar resolutions, there would be very little difference on whats on screen.
Even so, the aspect ratio makes for a difficult time reading documents etc I believe. Truthfully, I need to bring in my mba into the store to see the difference. I really hate the specs of the 11.6 though and might just wait for the second gen to pick it up. I paid the same amount for my current 13.3" but I have 2.13ghz, 128gb ssd, superdrive, apple care, retail leopard and snow leopard rolled into it.

I would prefer a retina display or twice the pixel resolution as the current iPad 2 over 3D.

Do a little research on eBay and see how many of these are listed and sold per hour. These cheap Chinese imports are not tracked in overall sales figures of MP3 players. I don't know what kind of market share they have.1) I don't use eBay - but how many iPods are sold there?
2) How many iPods are sold - through regular outlets - every hour?
3) iPods are made in China
4) If you don't even know the market share how do you know they are threatening iPod sales?

Is it me, or is the internals of the Mac Pro not as sexy as the internals of the PowerMac G5? It just doesn't feel the same.

I certainly hope that the resolution on the Apple Movie Store will be AT LEAST 480x720 (aka 480P). Otherwise, between Netflix and super cheap DVDs these days, I don't see how Apple can compete with lower than DVD resolution.
If they are really smart (and the studios play ball, which is doubtful) they would go straight to 1080P.

Completed the game on Heroic with a couple of friends...the last few missions were very good...will try to do it on Legendary over the next few weeks...
I'm growing more and more disenchanted with Multi-player though...I'd rather pop in Halo 3...the game variants and maps are much more enticing...

I think it's actually true. It just seemed more casual/fluffy than our usual front page stories, which is why it got to page 2.

I always wonder what people do to their Windows 7 installs to make them crash.
On my desktop: I've put my windows 7 install through a lot but had to reinstall it around two months ago when my tweaking of WMP went awry. No biggie, boots up REALLY quickly thanks to 2 SSDs in RAID0. Nothing strange to report... also uses an ASUS motherboard, which has.. been through a lot to say the least. All of it was my own doing (overclocking-related...), but it hangs in there.
My laptop: ASUS U43J, revision X. Best laptop I've ever owned. 10 hour battery life (with wifi on), NVidia 310m, Optimus technology, 4 GB ram, windows 7 64 bit. Absolutely a wonderful experience.
I wonder if Apple would ever consider using ASUS motherboards.

I'm not sure the iPhone device shown on picture and movie is a fake.
I suppose it is just not the CDMA or GSM mobile phone device we think about.
Il could be just some kind of WIFI device that let us:
- use iChat, via Wifi, at a distance of the computer
- call via IP from home ( a new feature comming to iChat).
- control home music on airport express
- Watch a clip or movie...
- ...
Some kind of remote Front Row...
One thing that make me think its real is that, on the WWDC, just under the 64 bits logo, left, there is a small device like a long ipod in its cradle, that could perfecly be that "Remote Front Row"

Slap a Core 2 Duo in it, bump it up to a 15 or 15.4 inch screen and watch it become Apples best selling notebook ever.

I'd recommend resizing the image you're linking to... to something 1024px wide or smaller. If that's not convenient, then in this case I'd just go with the thumbnail which we can click on to see the bigger version. Otherwise many of us have to scroll sideways to see the entire image.

Probably OK for everyday use, but impractical for computers used for image editing because of the smudges.

if Adobe can get it's s*** together and make Flash work on OS X, then I would be more opposed to Apple's reluctance to see it ported to iPhone.

Which parts of Reach fit this description?? I can only think of 1 area that was reused, and it was a part of the game you just move through pretty quickly. On top of that, the two times you visit the area are separated in time, both story-wise and mission number (3 & 9), so they have a VERY different feel each time you go through. But hey, if you have other areas, I'm all ears.
I was joking around - in the original game there were literally sections that were copied and pasted to artificially lengthen the game. It has been talked about ages ago, nothing new. That is different than revisiting places, which is common in many games ...

I would say that it's not a matter of being "licensed to act" as much as it's a recognition of your relationship to God and the rest of his creation. We don't need God's permission to act, that is what free will is all about. However, your understanding of how the world works and your motivation for action is either rooted in your faith in God or your faith in what is man made, which could include faith in religious tradition, or faith in principles/morals/ethics.
Basically, what we are talking about is an individual's worldview and how that worldview impacts their motivations in life.

doing battle with walmart, trying to get more studios and cable/tv channels on board, holding back the RIAA with a chair and a whip...apple is doing a lot to revolutionize digital media distribution, and i'm appreciative of this. but at what point will this take it's toll on macintosh computers? will apples legal and business battles compromise technological development?

Ironic that FACEBOOK is one of websites that most OFTEN CRASHED Safari 4.0.3!
I'm not sure who's to blame for that, Apple or Facebook, but since many other websites don't crash Safari 4.0.3, doesn't this seem like the little stubborn child refusing to do his homework properly?
Btw, I've yet to extensively test Safari 4.0.4 on Facebook, but my past experience was that Facebook has always been buggy on Macs, and every new update to the site always seems to cause a Mac-specific problem.
And recently with Safari 4.0.3, it was crashing Safari 3 times a week.
Other websites were crashing Safari 4.0.3 too, mostly those that were Javascript or FLASH intensive, but Facebook was one of the worst offenders.
I'm anxious to see how Safari 4.0.4 does, so far so good as far as crashes on any website (knocks on wood). :)
