On a different note, how many labor applications does each one of the applicants in BEC have? Among the 250,000 applications still pending in BEC, how many are applications that still have a legitimate benefactor? For example, in your case, it is pretty evident that you are likely going to use the other company's labor, but what happens to the labor you filed from your current company? If this labor is used for sub, then thee is another legitimate applicant who is being denied the opportunity to file 485 by some one who will use this date.
I think this issue is equally important in solving retrogression.

It's easy, I've been doing it all week long.
Choose to export. When you do it comes up with a menu which lets you choose wireframe export. Also it allows you to choose which type of fills you want to use, as well as options for either the complete wireframe, or just the edges.

I know people work for county on EAD, but can one be employed by the US government on EAD?
I work for State government on EAD. My agency's HR didnot/does not have any knowledge, had to involve local Immigration lawyers and State immigration lawyers to educate them. I have to be forthcoming and provide/sign new I-9's whenever my EAD is renewed.

Can some one please shed some light on this May 15, 2005 cut off date and its significance ? Does it affect folks who have already filed for labor and I-140 after this date and have got it approved .... say sometime in 2006 ?

Like me all July filers would get off the H1-B hook come this Jan. I am assuming everybody would use newly gained freedom of EAD to switch employer or jobs. So far, not many employers like to get involved in H1 hassels ( espcialy in midwest), so recruiters had good business by hiring engineers at low rate and syphoning off majority share of the pay check.
But now, with 180 days (less than 75 days) limit over, all EAD holders are free to switch employers of jobs ( I know in same or similar capacity ... but that's not the point). The point is what would be the effect on current business contracting companies have? What would be the effect of EAD on their cost models and consistent revenues?
Not saying they would cease to exsist, as H1B's would still need them. But isn't new and bold demands from engineers like me going to affect their margins? ...What do you think?

Hi All,
I have received a information regarding my EB2 (PD Jan 15 2005)Approval from my old company( Here all the fees are being met by me).I had left that company last year trying to pursue my carrier.
New company has given me an approved labour for EB3 OCt 2004 and I140 is approved.
I would like to know from experinced guys , as to what should I be doing, should I resign from new company and join back the old one?
As GC is for future employment, can i apply for I140 throgh my old company and join them back in I485 Stage?
When can we expect EB2 PD of Jan 2005 to be current.
I would appreciate your responses.

Do not expect anything, no one can tell you a specific range of dates when the priority of a Labor be current. You can join the old emp and use this priority date from the current emp of Oct 2004 to the one with PD Jan 15th 2005.
The priority date is based on a person so you can carry it anywhere only after a I-140 is approved for that labor.
So -- You at the old company can have priority date of Oct 2004.

I'm not sure of the file format. I can't remember off the top of my head which type an eps doc is. I can say that swift will import any illustrator shape, or stroke. I think as a default it gives the object a 1.0 thickness.
If you have Flash, but no illustrator, no worries, because Flash will export any simple construct fills or strokes as a basic illustrator format.
I do almost all of my work in swift with imported shapes. (though the lathe and extrusion editors in swift are nice also)

I am currently working for a company at Chicago,IL on OPT (Optional Practical Training) period which is of one year. I have graduated as Electical Engineer from NJIT,NJ this year and is authorized to work during the OPT. Unfortunately the OPT is ending on 11th February, 2007.
I applied for H1B through the same company at Chicago but missed it as the CAP was closed by 28th August, 2006. Hence, I am currently working on the OPT work authorization.
I am aware that I will be out of status after February 11th at the end of my OPT tenure. I am planning to re-apply for H1 with the same company again well in time next year. As I will be out of status until I get my H1B application accepted and approved possibly by October'07, what are the best options available for me to legally stay here in USA with a valid status during the period until October 2007. Time is short and I needed to work out some thing quick.
I shall be grateful to any one who could send in your valuable advise.

Thanks. Basically we are trying our options and chances to see if it is possible to work towards a fellowship based on the current restrogressed scenerio. Would any of them have handled such scenerios, I guess Khanna's office would be best option ??? Stephen Perlitsh seems to have answers to all kinds of questions but he is difficult to access.

It is thus imperative that the transfer H-1B employees should neither notify nor turn in the resignation before the new H-1B petition is "filed." Worse situation could be termination of H-1B employees by the current employer in a hostile environment. Since the current employer is likely to file the revocation (withdrawal) notice in the latter situation immediately, such H-1B alien can face a serious problem unless they are eligible for nun pro tunc H-1B filing.

Hi,
My I-485 AOS thru my Husband's I-140 is pending right now.
Recently My sister's Approved I-130's priority date is Current, So now I Can file for AOS thru my Sister's I-130 also.
My question is :
Which is better Interfile or new filling ?
What are the advantages and dis-advantages of both ?
If I go for Interfiling and If My Application is not approved thur one track (I-130 / I-140) will my application be pending for another track ?

My received date is Aug 15, 2007.
I looked at the new I485 instructions and the fee now is $985.00.
So i think I payed under the old structure. I am going to include the fee for both of them.

You can try filing a FOIA request with USCIS and ask them to give yo information. It will take lot of time though. Immigrationvoice filed FOIA request last year and now USCIS shows all EB data to everyone.
