I am starting new thread for people who are re-filing their applications (I-485) because they were rejected for any reasons.
Please list following:
1. Rejection notice date (RND)
2. Reejction reason(s)
3. Whose fault
4. Status of re-filing
5. Date of package recevied at service center (date, time, received by, service center)
6. Status
7. Waiting for action from
I-485 Rejected/RND:09-21/I-140 Not Found/USCIS error/Re-file date:TBD/Recevied By: TBD/Status:PENDING/Waiting for: Lawyer to re-submit.

Guys,
This is question to july 485 files, has anyone from Austin, tx received FP appointment.
I filed on jul 25 ( NSC) got transferred to TSC and got receipts on 9/27
and EAD on 10/2, but no FP as yet.
Just wondering if FP did get lost...or am i in line..
Comments, suggestions ???

There are several campaign threads opened. One is asking this other is asking that.
Folks, I know this is a difficult time for many of us, especially Eb3 folks, but please don't loose your cool. Writing just on the forum will not get you anything. Contact your chapter leaders try to organize by actual calling each others. Learn what intiatives are already underway.
In the past there had been several discussion on filing lawsuit , doing this , doing that etc but not a single one of them even moved beyond this forum. If you are interseted I can give you those examples.
Now, let me share with you a story:
Belling the Cat
Long ago, the mice (folks on this forum) held a general council to consider what measures they could take to outwit their common enemy, the cat (read USCIS). Some said this, and some said that; but at last a young mouse got up and said he had a proposal to make, which he thought would meet the case.
"You will all agree," said he, "that our chief danger consists in the sly and treacherous manner in which the enemy approaches us. Now, if we could receive some signal of her approach, we could easily escape from her. I venture, therefore, to propose that a small bell be procured, and attached by a ribbon round the neck of the cat (read campaign/ lawsuits against USCIS) . By this means we should always know when she was about, and could easily retire while she was in the neighborhood."
This proposal met with general applause, until an old mouse got up and said, "That is all very well, but who is to bell the cat?"

NSC is going very tough on A2P issues. I have had a A2P issues on my 140 with Nebraska. Suggest you hire a good attorney and you can resolve this in your favour. PM me if you need any additional information.

Hello Guys,
I lost my job last week and we have decided to return back to India.
Filed 2 times for GC and got stalled for some reason or another. I am on my 7th year extension. We decided to go back due to frustrtion of Immi. policies and other personel reasons.
I was one of the first 500 members in immigrationvoice.com.(but was not so actively involved)
Still remember those days in 2005, I was an active member of another website callled us immigration america travel news at isnamerica.org (http://www.isnamerica.org). (new members might not know abt this site)
I was very critical of IV during it was formed, but became a member after I got a call from one of the founders of IV.(dont remember who?)
Anyway, Good luck to all you guys.....And Wish u all success.

I heard TCS is calling back many of their TL/PL/PM back to India. I heard it from 2-3 differrnt sources. Just wanted to see if anybody knows about it.
I personally know a person who is with TCS, he is a team lead or something.... asked to go back by TCS..... they are returning in mid Feb.....

The company will have to sponsor the H1 in full. Not enough to just give you an employment verification letter.
Also as per the rules, you cannot pay for the H1. Only the company can pay for it.

My initial receipt date for I-485 from Vermont service center was July 7th 2007. But when I-485 was transferred to Texas service center, receipt date on I-485 is showing as September 11th 2007. Can we do anything to correct the wrong receipt dates as this might have significant impact on my processing times. Please advice

If one changes to a new employer after 180 days,
How much support (documentation etc) does he/she need from the ex-employer or the ex-employers attorney?
After 180 days, so I assume I'll have the receipt notice and hopefully EAD and AP (also have I-140 copy).
for 6 months. and W2 if applicable.
