I couldn't find any of your blogs in IV blogs!
Anyway as someone suggested can you post all of your transactions in the last one week, atleast. Did you gain or lose?
What is the percentage profit you made since you started day trading, last year, last three months, last month, last week, etc.
I am blogging right here on IV blogs . Check IV blogs and you will see my posts there.
I will try and post watches here on the blogs too.

12 years in US. Engg grad from India. Had 6 yeras of work exp before joing the current employer. Working with the current employer for 8 years now.
EB3
Priority date Sep 2004
I-140 Approved in Nov 2005
I-485 Filed for both my wife and myself in July 2007
EB2 porting
Started new process with same employer in September 2010
Applied PERM in Jan 2011 and got approved in 10 days
Applied I-140 in April 2011 and got approved in one week
Priority date recaptured and I-140 has the old priority date (Sep 2004) and same A# as previous one
Opened SR with USCIS in first week of May 2011
Informed customer service that my Priority date is outside normal processing time
Received an e-mail after couple of days "There are no visas available to process your I-485 application. Your priority date is EB3 September 2004 which is later that the cut-off listed on the visa bulletin for your preference. Thank you for your time. This inquiry will be considered closed."
Any ideas or help is much appreciated.

I agree that going through this again next year is irritating (which is euphemistic, at best), but...
assuming for a second that CIS is willing to give you a replacement card with 2-year validity, are you willing to send them the card you have finally received (after another nerve racking wait) so they can process your request? I don't think so...
BTW, there's a guy on Ron Gotcher's forum who's been issued a 2-year EAD eventhough his dates have been current for the last 4-months. Check this out: http://www.immigration-information.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5855
so CIS is issuing 1-year cards to some folks whose PD was not current when the EAD application was approved...and 2-year cards to some whose PD was actually current. typical CIS stuff...
I wonder for those who have got one year cards, if this would help - call USCIS and point out the inequality ...or maybe say that by mistake they sent 1 year when they should have sent 2 year ..would that help ..any thoughts ??
the thought of going through this again next year is irritating ..

Seeing the way the health care bill is going, none of the EB3 folks are seeing any hope for CIR.
I also do not have hopes on CIR. We really are in hopeless situation.

chintu25,
I did not ask you to explain any thing to me. You needed to make a good argument ..............hink did that. I will leave it there and do not want to take this discussion further on my opinions about day trading and it's nitty gritty.
Ouch Nix..... Relax
One of the important principals of trading longterm / day or swing is "DO NOT OVER THINK " Trader will loose all the rationale when his/her money is on the line.
DO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR TRADES Get your profits and move out or cut your losses and move on.
MAKE A PLAN ...STICK TO IT
I will try to answer any questions that anyone may have. I can also give an overview of my trading strategy on my blog posts.
Please do check the blogs and leave comments too.
Thanks to Pappu for letting me do the blogs

Based on the trend of the signups till now and our need for resources to make sure we push hard for our provisions, we have a target of 1000 signups in one month. Some of these signups will also be more than 20 ($100 and $50). This is a achieveable target and will keep us focussed on the lobbying effort and devote resources to go all out in the coming months. We have 112 signups till now. Another 888 needed. If you are reading this post and have not contributed, contribute now.

Bill Text - 112th Congress (2011-2012) - THOMAS (Library of Congress) (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c112:H.R.43:)
That link has the complete text. Relatively simple text. Includes those who have completed degree in last 5 years or those who have resided in the US since obtaining a degree.
Only one constrain. Requires that "will substantially benefit prospectively the national economy of the United States". The second part is something which is fuzzy and not sure how USCIS will interpret it. They might apply the logic of EB2-NIW. However, in either case, it is adding numbers of EB categories and hopefully rest of the bill is allowing for these numbers to fall across and down.
If the applicant has completed masters degree in U.S. after filing Labor /485, does he get benefited with this bill ?
Thanks,

Note the letter is addressed to chertoff. So even if USCIS do not send all those documents, Chertoff will kick the butt of USCIS to "get the damn thing fixed" before it becomes a bigger issue.
btw just asked my attorney(from a premier firm)
"Is this rumour anywhere close to being true? If so how soon do you think a turnaround may possible come?"
Ans: close...maybe as soon as tmrow or friday.

My I140 is approved and now I am filing the I 485/765/131 together based on new developments. Now that all dates are current, are they going to process the application based on July filing date or based on Priority date(labor).
Can please someone confirm that. My attorney says its based on priority date but I just called USCIS information desk and they said that its based on 485 application date.
Thank you
If dates remain current, I-485 will be processed based on receipt date
If dates retrogress (Likely to happen on July 3rd, July 15th, July 31st.....take your pick), then I-485 will be processed based on PD

I am jumping ahead of the situation here, but I just wanted to see what other members think/know. Assuming that the 90K visa recapture happens, It doesnt take too long for them to be used up in the current situation where there are a lot of people with labors and approved 140's (w/PERM). Not every one will have an oppurtunity to file for a new labor and file for 485. If DOS makes the PD's current / post Mar 2005, wouldn't it be unfair to people who labors are pending for 3 yrs. How does this work out in the previous recapture? HLG doesnt say about numbers being forwarded to the next year though.
HLG wants to give these 90 K to the healthcare professionals Schedule A only...So I donot know about you but I donot get anything for sure.....Even if the recapture is for all categories it would not make much difference....May be EB3 ROW would become current...and EB2 India dates would move a bit....

It looks like to me that Porters strike again. they have eaten all the Visa's. very few approvals so far. I am worried about next bulletin now. dates can go back now. every EB3 is porting to EB2.
we see the results. they will block EB2 too.
I'm seeing around 10 approvals from yesterday. Most of the approvals seems like coming after hours. Most of the people are saying they got emails after 11:30 PM last night.
All the cases I have seen are from TSC, none from NSC

I have read that the Chicago cases were going to be moved to from May. BUt what about the cases that have been in Audit since Jan/Feb 2008. Were they also moved or something.

Reply from Ron:
All of the Chicago cases have been transferred to Atlanta. If the Chicago guys want to talk to me, Im happy to do so. They dont have to hire me if all they want is information. As for putting names and case numbers, without that information, they wont take the letter seriously. Also, I think that this will get the DOL to move on those cases. Almost every time I have made a specific complaint, they have responded by resolving the case right away in order to make the whole thing go away. It wouldnt surprise me to see the same thing here.[/QUOTE]
