When you take forever to get the phone on VZW you should expect people to take their time switching.
First, you've let Android have all that time to get a following because it's the only alternative for the lack of an iPhone. Those people have also bought apps that they now enjoy and would have to re-purchase on the iPhone. This happens with video game systems as well.
Second, people are in 2yr contracts. There are very few people who are willing to pay more for a phone they can buy 4 months later at half price on top of the termination fee.
Third, not that many people hate AT&T it's just the handful of VZW fans that make it look that way.
And finally you have the reporting and reviews. All the reports I saw were telling VZW people and potential switchers to hold off on getting the iPhone 4. No 4G, no white and still had the questionable signal issues. The "iPhone 5" was supposed to come out mid to late summer so people were concerned Apple would sell them a phone and then jump up 6 months later with the newer, thiner, better version and leave folks hanging.

Hmm, garbage. A bit strong, maybe? Chrysler has made its fair share of substandard autos too. Most versions of the Neon apart from the early twincams were pretty awful. The Avenger, Stratus, Sebring? Not so much. The Nitro? eek. The 300C/Charger is not so great with the V6 IMO, but equipped with the Hemi (provided you can handle the horrific fuel economy) it does a fair impression of a musclecar. The Challenger is retro done well, but is a niche vehicle.
I would take the current Golf over any of Chrysler's smaller offerings.
VW has had some nasty problems, especially in the electronics dept. I believe they are getting better, though I haven't seen any recent news on it. Fiat seems to have been a blessing for Chrysler. Based on some stuff I have read, it's amazing they didn't go bankrupt earlier. Daimler and Cerebus really just let them wither. I heard one story about the Fiat people being shocked at how little money they had been allocated for interior design while under Cerebus. Fiat seems to have corrected this, as the redesigned interiors in the 300, 200, and others are greatly improved. They still have a long way to go, as the 200 is little more than a facelifted Sebring, but it is still an improvement. The new 3.6L Pentastar V6 is also a very nice engine. They have come a long way in a short time, but Chrysler still has a long way to go.
I agree that the new design is very bland. I think they know what they are doing. The car companies seem to believe that this type of design will sell the most cars in the U.S. The Hyundai Sonata is a slight break from this mold.
Of course bland sells in the mid-size market. The Accord and Camry are the largest selling cars in the US.

Your comparison isn't apt. If you're wearing gold chains and bracelets and hundred dollar bills sticking out of your pockets, yes it would increase your chances of being mugged.
So whether a person deserves to get mugged based on how he dresses has nothing to do with whether he dresses as a wealthy person dresses, but instead has everything to do with your moral judgment of how well he conforms to standards that exist in your own head. Dressing like a pimp or drug dealer: fair game. Dressing like a much wealthier Wall Street type: well that's just so wrong you can't even understand the comparison.
People you respect don't deserve to be victimized, but people you don't respect are just getting what they ask for.
Should your assessment of responsibility for criminal behavior be based on such superficial judgmentalism, or should everyone be equal before the law?

Ok, I saw this here once. It was a .css file, that when added to safari through some preference it blocked all those page embeded ads. What was it? I know of Pith Helmet, but I don't feel like installing something, I just want that file!

Android will be on more things by the end of the year. iOS is restricted to apple products. But we are already seeing the creativity that people are using android for. Being that it is open source and easy to modify and write on we have many things. Android now powers eReaders, TVs, Video games, and even a microwave

I think "1" gig is more than enough.

So people keep saying that Bootlace is compatible with the iPod Touch 2g but no one says if its MB or MC, or both.
I would just go ahead and try it, but I heard Bootlace can brick your device if something goes wrong.

This may only happen if they get rid of the consumer-quality GPS receiver in it. Would raise the price of the handset, though.
It's more than likely going to be the use of their own software (iMaps?) rather than use Google which has their own Mobile OS now.
iPhone GPS works great for me, even when I visit New York City.

What a cool product. I used to love playing Breakout and then the new and improved Super Breakout. The problem in playing these games now is that we don't have the old circular paddle controllers that made them so much fun to play.

Loved battlezone and red baron as a small child....worth $.99 easily. May plug another buck for tempest. $15 for the package, a lot of which consists of atari 2600 titles which even had crappy graphics for the 70's, pass.
