Hi all,
I have posted my case details but here it is again. I got a reject on my H1 after receiving 221(g) form. Same old reason cited in the letter. The case reached USCIS on 28th Jan and no progress after that.
My husband works for the same company and he got his visa stamped after 221(g). Now i am planning to apply for H4. I have a few questions.
1)Can i go for H4 stamping without revoking my earlier H1? Will i be asked to revoke my H1?
2)Since my husband works for the same firm and i got a reject working for the same firm, can my H4 be a problem?
3)Can it be a problem to my husband's H1 who got it stamped successfully and is already in the US?
4)My idea of not revoking H1 is because i want to try a COS once i am in US, which some people have done it successfully. But does anyone know if this has to be done before April, before the new H1B quota opens up?

Also, I have the new extended H1 which is valid from Sept 19th 2010.
Now, I'm planning to travel to India and go for stamping.
1. If I go for stamping before sept19th, on which H1 will i get the visa stamped,present H1 or the new extended H1?

I'm flexible with my travel.

I just got my H1 visa. As my understanding that they will stamp my passport at the port of entry, I wonder if they will keep my current I-797 at the port of entry (I already have the H1 stamp in my passport). Pls advise. Also, I don�t have the bottom portion of the I-94 on I-797 since I am currently in Malaysia . Would this be a problem? Please also advise if they will issue me the new I-94 at the port of entry. My name is mistakenly typed in the form I-129 submitted to USCIS. In that form only, in all other forms(including i-129 supplements) it has typed correctly. So, it's reflecting in I-797 as venuKalangi(last/family Name), Venu((first Name). "venu" is repeated. My actual Name is Venu(first name),Kalangi(last/family name).
My petition is filed on apr27th'2010 and is in initial review now. Can you pls guide me what need to be done now. I'm a new applicant and my travel date is in last week of october. I heard that I need to apply for amendment, if so, by which form it need to be done and how much time it may take for correction or Can I go for stamping without amendment, is it causes any problem?
