I don't agree with what mbawa2574 has to say,but I certainly disagree banning mbawa for expressing views. I think, mbawa2574 is well within limits of posting anything that could hurt IV image/goals. ( On this thread, I mean).

I'd rather help channel his thoughts and energies in a direction that helps IV than ban him.

I think we reserve the right to make sure what appears on the home page of the website. Is there anything wrong with that?
Have you tried asking Numbersusa, Programmers Guild and your employer about changing leadership? What makes this organization any different? Just because anyone can post anything on IV website to get visibility on the homepage, its not ok to abuse the resources of the organization. We did not create IV to promote democracy or freedom of expression, there are ample of other sites to promote democracy and freedom of expression, you are free to use those resource at your liking. IV website is for a single purpose of achieving the goals we have set for the organization. You can find our goals on the website. And anything that conflicts with our goal will be removed. Its easy to use terms like democracy, freedom of expression etc to defend actions that malign the good effort put in by others. To make things clear, IV's objective is not to promote or preserve democracy/freedom of expression. We have a goal to achieve and we will not deter from our goal, whatever it takes.

Dear All..need expert guidance on my situation.
1) Company A. Approved I-140 and LC for more than 6 months in 2006
2) Took a Job with Company B. Concurrent filling of New I-140 , 485, EAD, AP (In July 2007), EAD and AP approved > 180 days. But still waiting for I-140..looks like it going to take some time.
3) Want to change to company �C�in similar area. Can I use AC21? Given that I have approved I-140 from company A, 485 from company B and want to move to company C ?
I assume answer is No but thought I will get some expert guidance.

well discussion is always welcome but do you mean that by discussing in the forums, you will have an effect on what will happen to the bill in the senate?i am all for any steps that will have a direct or indirect impact on the future of the bill. but do you really think that by arguing and debating with each other about what should happen will have any impact on the future of the legal immigration??
I do not think anybody here is a great political personality who is having a voice in the senate or congress, YOu know which forum you are in IV is lobbying and trying to make changes in the bill by lobbying and helping the immigrant communities, so ideas comes from debating and discussing that is the democractic way. Even lot of threads immigrationvoice hosted for ideas alone. so open your eyes. Dont wait to make effect in senate alone, but a combined effort by all of us will do.

That does raise a small question here, the $1010 fee that we pay does that also exempt us on the biometric fee, so in essence AP/EAD/FP is all exempt irrespecitve the number of times we apply under the new fee structure?
I think the Biometrics fee should be covered....when we applied online...the biometrics fee was part of the entire AP fee...we didn't pay a separate fee. It doesnt make sense that just because you apply online, you have to go for biometrics but if you send a paper application, they would not require biometrics! What does the application method have to do with biometrics? I suggest you call up USCIS and confirm about the biometrics fee...but as far as I know...everything should be covered with the fee your wife paid during the AOS application..

soft LUD on a case 1 no. ahead of you or 1 no. behind you = very soft LUD on your case. Isn't everybody is smart enough to calculate the formula for very-raised-to-the-power-of-n soft LUD now.

I do not see update on online status on the registered cases in my portfolio in TSC.
My wife had applied for AP in first week of Feb, we have received AP in a months time but online status still shows "Application received on Feb xx 2009........"

Would it be too much to add a second thread that talks about contributions to IV when i look at 5 threads at the top of the list that all track LUD's :)
This spurt of LUD-related threads is a symptom of the COLTS outbreak that has been reported recently. This epidemic seems to break out every time VB jumps ahead a few notches :)

To avoid further delays and have the necessary paperwork on-hand ready to file I-485 petition when PD becomes current, I had the following questions for the folks on this forum who have filed I-485 or are knowledgeable about the paperwork requirements:
1) Birth Certificate: I have my original birth certificate but it is not in English.
a. I have a translated notarized version in English from India. Will this suffice?
b. If not, can a birth certificate issued by the Indian Consulate General suffice?
c. Also, is this birth certificate required for spouse too if her name is added to I-485 petition?
2) Police clearance: I know that one has to go thru the FBI name check for US clearance and this is done by processing center after filing of I-485 petition.
a. Do I need to have a police clearance from India?
b. If so, can a Police clearance certificate from Indian Consulate General suffice?
c. Also, is police clearance certificate required for spouse if her name is added to I-485 petition?
3) Medical: I have the list of approved Doctor�s in my geographical area. However, I do not have my inoculation records. Hence, I believe the Doctor will administer the shots again.
a. How long does the approved Dr. to finalize the tests and administer the shots? Is this a 1 day or week(s) process before the Dr. hands over the sealed medical forms back?
b. How long is the medical test valid? (Is it valid for 1 month, 6 months etc)
4) Additional documentation: Is there any other documentation, not stated above, that has a long lead time that I can start to accumulate now?

My guess is EB2 will return to current and EB3 will be retrogressed anything from 2002 to 2005. I doubt it will be any more current than that.

Specifically, what happens if an employee leaves the company, are the remaining years (out of 3 granted originally) still valid ? does CSPA automatically protects and applies and help the children who aged out or they should have filled some forms for seeking the help?

Well, iam in the same dilemma. I was out of country for 3 months since March and out of job since then.I recently took up a permanent position.I did not inform my employer about it.The new employer is willing to give the offer letter which is needed for invoking AC21. I do have a copy of the approved
I140.I don't have any contact with my employer except for using the COBRA option of health coverage.So at this point iam not even sure if my approved I140 has been withdrawn or not.
Is it a good idea at this point to invoke AC21 ?

Is there a way to check if your case has been pre adjudicated. My 485 doesn't show any LUD since oct 2008. We changed address at the time. I thought that would result in a soft LUD. Nothing since then. My priority date is Jan 2007- EB2-I.

We(My wife and I) recently (July 2009) got our FPs done. immediately after that our cases got transferred from TSC to VSC.
PD: Feb 14, 2005.
I thought VSC is not processing any I-485 applications. Is anyone else in the same status ?
Also, I have to apply for EAD and AP.. Do I apply in TSC or VSC ?:confused:
