I use Jasc Animation shop 3 to make my gifs.. just make the jpg's in photoshop, and then import to Animation Shop 3...
It even has loads of transition effects! :)

whilei don t know what is salary as per market rate... i will not have any salary... only straight commission. but i guess i can ask the broker to pay me a salary but i will not be an agent ...more like someone working in the office like a secretary.

History channel premiered a program "Naturalized" yesterday (12/18). They covered people from so man y different walks of life facing so many different problems to get GC and citizenship. But in the 90 minute program there was no coverage on how our community is struggling and no mention about the plight of the employment based category.
Makes me wonder if there is enough awareness about our cause.

So GC journey,
You seem to be the only one other than me not to get a CPO or welcome email....could be that we are unwanted (unwelcome) greens....anyway I don't think you get a separate email for CPO after an approval mail...the first mail is usually a CPO/welcome mail ....Need to see what shows up in the Postal Mail when it arrives...

i got an rfe too. I think its sent to both the attorney and the applicant. They said they mailed the RFE yesterday, so hopefully by early next week I should have it. I am guessing its employment verification due to me filing change-of-address. i know for sure that my ex-employer did not revoke 140.

The attorney is right and no where has she specifically stated it as an "Indian only" issue. It just happens that lot of consultancies are owned by Indians and they could be her clients.
But she has at least brought visibility to the sudden enforcement tactics of the USCIS, which can only be termed as seeing everyone as a criminal, just because you found one or two in a bunch. In fact hearing about a lot of H1 extensions denied (even with approved 140) or given only for a very limited period of time, extensive RFEs etc. all I can say is that if they are unable to legislatively "purge" foreign workers due to business lobby, they sure are trying to do so administratively.

:) if an RFE was issued, that means some of the evidences submitted are not enough to prove that the I-140 is "approvable". I dont want to argue, but "approvable" is the exact term used by USCIS.
what if there is an rfe on the 140 when the case is not approved (but is approvable) and the employee has already quit? wont the 140 sponsor have to respond saying that employee nada exists? so, even though "approvabe" may be the right legalese, isnt "approved" more practical and relevant for us as beneficiaries.

I am on H4 visa. Applied for 485 in june 2007 and got my EAD and AP last month.
Unfortunately I also applied for H1 visa in march 2007, and it got approved now. I told the employer that I will work on EAD and don't need my visa.
He is now blackmailing me to pay the amount or he will give negative feedback/comments/reason for me in H1 cancellation letter.
I didnot sign any agreement with him.
What is the H1 cancellation form/letter?
Does it have any impact on my Green Card Process? Please Advise.

I have a 4 yr degree + approx 7 yrs experience before joining current company in US.My labor required a bachelor+5 yr progressive experience and did not mention about Masters.
140 filed under EB2.
I recently received RFE .In one of the point the officer has mentioned that the classicfication requires advanced degree and has asked me to submit academic record for advanced degree in addition to transcript+credithours+attendence for bachelor degree.
I have been thinking that bachelor+ 5 yrs experience is ok for EB2.But now i am confused.
Pls throw in some light.

Dear All..need expert guidance on my situation.
1) Company A. Approved I-140 and LC for more than 6 months in 2006
2) Took a Job with Company B. Concurrent filling of New I-140 , 485, EAD, AP (In July 2007), EAD and AP approved > 180 days. But still waiting for I-140..looks like it going to take some time.
3) Want to change to company �C�in similar area. Can I use AC21? Given that I have approved I-140 from company A, 485 from company B and want to move to company C ?
I assume answer is No but thought I will get some expert guidance.

When you use Fireworks to make your animation, try converting to a symbol and using a tween, as in Flash...
I don't know if these things are tweenable... Alright, look I've attached one of the animated gifs to this post, so you can see what I mean. I've got this one down to 20K, but I need to make it lower. I haven't got much knowledge of Fireworks (at least not on the animating side), - I've found the Convert To Symbol thing, but it doesn't seem to reduce the file size. Each frame was originally a .psd, which was then Saved For Web as a gif, opened into Fireworks, then pasted into the animation.
Any ideas, bright spark? :)
