based on what bbct said, they'll give me i-94 with expiry in Aug 2009 which is my visa expiry date (I don't have AP). just curious.. how does the i-94 expiry date matter? what significance does that date have?
Secondly, my wife does not have h1/h4 but has an EAD (485 pending status). She will be entering with me using her AP which is valid thru June 05, 2009. I'm guessing entering US should not be a problem since we're entering on May 11th. But I guess the expiry on her I-94 will be June 05, 2009. Again, what role does that date on I-94 play?

If I renew my H1B can I avoid visa stamping by using the AP travel document.
I still intend to use my H1B as long as I stay with my current employer, but If I want to change employers or take a different job EAD would be the way to go, in that case would my H1B be invalidated?
I am concerned if I use EAD for a future job and 485 gets into trouble can I fall back to my H1B easily?

I would suggest that you follow the option of joining some other company, if that is possible. You would be joining with enough experience so as to qualify for a new EB2 application. You can retain your EB3 application and priority date if 180 days have passed since filing 485, which in your case has happened so you are OK.
Trying to file an EB2 application through the same employer might be tricky because you cannot count the experience that you have gained with the employer. Even though a case could be made that you have a masters degree in business but I suspect that that may not be enough as, if I understand you correctly, you have no "business development" experience from your previous employment. Thus you would be a candidate with a degree but no experience.
Just my two cents.

Yes. If the company financials are problem, you may have the same problem with EB3. I suggest, get paid consultation from some reputed lawyers.
Refile as what lawyer says, get new H1. That will give you some breathing room. If you see that current financial problem may jeopardize the new GC process as well, then you should switch over.
I assume this lawyer is hired by the company. So he will never advise you to make a move. It is you who have to look at all the options and see if it makes sense.

Dustinthewind, the preview has good background score and the shots are appropriate. The narrative (labels) that show up are also quite captivating. All together it looks very good and promising, however, I would have liked to see some diaglogues also in between. Maybe a tiny bit longer would have been better. We definitely need to hear the voices of the actors to make it all the more compelling. If there are tragic scenes in the movie a glimpse of those would also be great. Anyway I am not requesting you to change anything but just suggesting a few ways such previews could be more effective. [/I]

My appointment date was Apr 02 and they received my documents on March 30th. I kept calling the ph # given on their website after nth try , I was able to talk to one lady on 15 th april, she said it has been only 4 working days for embassy since they received my application, and it will take couple weeks more to get my passport renewed, if it does not require additional processing.

Next paper notice received contain GC.
Gurus / Recent GC Awardees:
Can you clarify if the following Sequence of GC Issuance PRocess is correct, once Approval process is going on .
1) Online LUD on Cases "Card Production Ordered" and subsequent Email.
2) Online LUD Change as "Welcome Notices Sent" and Emails.
3) Receiving the Paper WelcomeNotices (Are these Notices are deemed to be I485 approval notices ?? I have not yet received them)
4) Receiving the Cards.
Then What is "ADIT Processing" ? they mentioned in the Welcome Notices sent email.
Any Info or guidance from Peers is highly appreciated . :)

I had the same situation:
1. On the application form list your parents name as you want it. They will print the new name on the renewal passport. (I was not asked for any additional documents)
2.To add your spouses name on the passport you will have to give a copy of the marriage certificate and your spouses passport as part of the application form (I had applied in person).

Go to maxico but getting visa of Mexico from US is difficult on B1/B2. Canadian visa for her on B1/B2 visa is impossible. Check and call other near by countries visa consulate as well as US consular visa officer for the availibility of dates of H4 visa interview.

I'd got an extension within US, haven't left. Are you sure to put the old visa info. What about the new H1 approval which is valid. Shouldn't one put that info.
BTW, what is the visa no#..is it the control no# or EAC no#...
H1B approval notice doesnt carry any of the information requested like visa no, date issues, place issued

Visa number is the number on u'r H1b visa stamp in the passport which is on the right bottom and it's in red color.its not the control number
