For my 9th year H1-B visa extension, i want to use the premium processing. All the attorney fee and any other expenses will be paid by my company. I want to pay only the $1000 for premium processing. Is this legal ? Can the attorney attach my $1000 check signed by me, to the visa extension application with all other paperwork and send it to BCIS ?

If this is not legal what are my options ?

Please let me know.

I filed for I751 (remove condition of my green card) on June 2007. Received by USCIS on June 07, 2007. I already received my extension and the biometric appointment.... still on Texas center. How long you think I have to wait until I get a response of approval??? they said (before they got behind) that it takes 6 months.... December will be 6 month.... who knows what is really happening on immigration??? what cases they are putting behind and what cases they are working on??? (I know that the time schedule says April 07, but in the last month they only process cases receive on 4 days, last month said April 3 and this month April 7)

The thing is that I want to change my Job, but who will ever hire me with only a 1 year extension green card!!! help please!

Hi,

I am planning to get my H1B extension Visa stamped in Montreal, Canada. i am in US right now. I have completed the online application. I have paid the fee through my credit card and the status of the transaction is showing as "Pending" in my bank account. I can able to see "MRV Fee Receipt Number". i can also able to see Schedule Appointment First Available: Friday, November 12, 2010 09:30 AM. But I am not able to schedule an appointment. All of the steps I performed on Yesterday. So I have waited for today for any changes and all remains the same.

Please help me.

Hi,

My sister is a citizen and she applied GC for my parents who are in India.She applied for I-130 in April and it was approved in 2 months.She now has to fill the form I-864 and is in the process of doing so.Meanwhile my parents would like to visit USA.They'll be coming in December and be staying for 6 mos.They have a 10 yr visa and visited us back in 2004.
My question is it ok for them to visit USA?I read that they might be denied entry becasue of their approved I-130.We do not want to apply AOS here and they will return in June 09.

I sent the applications(I-140,I-485,I-131,I-765)to Nebraska center 3 weeks ago and it was received by them on December 17,2007(because I tracked the FedEx package).Until today,no receipts yet and my checks are not cashed yet and the receipting update says Current for Nebraska, is the normal or there is something wrong?

Hi,

I applied for EAD renewal at NSC on 07/03/08 and today 08/06/2008, the status shows card production ordered. I applied for my wife along with me and her status shows still received.

Does the dependent (spouse) EAD in general get approved a few days after the primary applicants EAD is approved? I am not really using the EAD, its my wife who is using it, and thats the concern.

Hi There,
My 485 application is pending at TSC on EB3 category, country of chargebility is Inida. Yesterday my PERM labor approved on EB2 category and need to apply 140 to recapture my own EB3 PD.

My employer will come under NSC. if the PD recaptured, I will be hardly one month away from my priority date to be current, as per the current visa bulletin dates.

1) So can you please provide some suggestion to which Service Center will be opt for filing EB2 140 now, in order for getting an optimal or faster process for 140 and eventually 485?

2) Does the service center really matters as it will take a very long time for me to get greened?

3) Is it worth waiting for couple of month's visa bulletin, to see whether the EB2 I dates are moving so that I can use some streamline process to process 140 and 485 together?

However, since CIS sets aside up to 6,500 of this 65,000 for nationals of Chile and Singapore, it is possible that they will stop accepting other H-1B petitions soon, if not already. We are still filing new petitions, but with fingers crossed that they are not too late. If you need to file, please do so ASAP.

US has a problem not with white people immigrating to US, but with people of Color, the ones who "don't look the part". Okay, so stop it already.
