Many thanks to IV core team for a very well co-ordinated effort.
Will the Visa numbers from fiscal year 2008 be used for alloting the numbers for those who are filing now ?
As per rule since those visa numbers are from future they cannot be alloted to those filing now.
Any predictions on how the October bulletin looks like ?

I just want to confirm that this ruling is still in effect. Use AP to return as Parolee, never used EAD, can continue to work for same employer on approved H1B petition. Are there others in this situation as well?

hi my wife had filed 485 on aug 2nd, we got the receipts aug 23rd monday.
Hope this helps...
We filed at TSC.
Also I got my GC approved today, i had filed 485 during july fiasco.

My spouse currently is in H4. Is it possible to get his F1 visa stamped (with i-20 and other documents) within US? for example, in local USCIS offices.?
Also, does getting COS (h4 to f1) approved means, we can exit and enter US without stamping in INDIA?

My 140 was denied based on the filing was Eb2 but job requirement only fits in eb3.
I filed my appeal with a new 140 on the same labor in Eb3, and in my Motion to Reopen specified to consider my old application in eb3 but if they will not to atleast consider my new application. This was an year back and I have filed premium, my new 140 was approved in 3 days, old one went AAO, but we withdrew the old one.
Talk to a good attorney, I consulted Aron Finkelstein in Murthy law firm. They were nominal and excellent customer support.

I heard from some source that non citizens cannot donate blood... if this is not true then count me in ....

If my priority date is current as of November bulletin, do I have time
until 30th November to mail the I-485 application?
Or does the DOS need to have received the application on or before 30th November?
And if I am in California, where does the I-485 application physically go?
[Its a long story why I didn't when the doors were open in July-Aug]

Inorder to take the priority date with you, the I140 petition (after the labour approval) needs to be approved.
I think there is no way you can take your priority date with you just with labour approval.

Due to Iceland's volcanic ash my MIL trip has to be postponed. She was on visitor visa. We filed an extension with USCIS and paid $300. She left US as soon as flights started to resume.
USCIS approved her extension 30 days after she left US.
a) Can we seek a refund because this extension has to be filled due to reasons beyond our control
b) In the future how to seek a fee waiver (any tips or advice please).
c) Can we seek fee waiver when we e-file a petition.

I applied for I 485 , AP and EAD during 07 July. I got a fp notice back in 2007 and I got another one two weeks ago. I went ahead and did my bio-metrics over the weekend at TSC Application Support Center.
Does this mean that somebody has looked into my file and pre adjudicated it? or is it a automated thing and does not mean anything?
Please advice!

I've found this site to be very helpful so far and would like to ask for some opinions on my case.
My I-485 (EB2) was submitted in 2007 and the PD is approaching, only 5 days away based on June's VB. My girlfriend is currently with F-1 visa and we are planning on getting married asap so that she can submit her 485 before my case is approved.
Here's the complete list that I can think of based on the research that I've done.
Documents that my future wife's need prepare
I-485 form
birth certificate
marriage certificate
medical exam
passport pages (I-94 card ect)
I-20 form
Two photos
Documents that I need prepare
My I-485 receipt
????

Can I file AC21 to change my employer to Company B and continue my I485 through to Company B?
