It would be interesting to split the poll as: Apr-May, June-July, Sept-Oct and Nov-Dec 05. I know there r not many between apr 05 and sept 05. but there is a lot in mar05 and sept to dec05 as labors under perm started clearing after sept 05.

HI,
My EB2 perm labor was approved recently and thinking of filing I 140.
Trying to port my EB3 PD, 09/23/2003 to EB2.
I missed filing I 1485 for my wife in july 2007.
My question is if I go ahead and file I 140 premium for me , lets say it gets approved soon ,my dates will be current.Should I file I 485 for my wife then ?
What happens if they approve my I 485 before I file my wife's 485.

This GDP growth because of the gov simulation: cash for cars, first time home buyer credit etc. we should not expect any steady recovery till 2011. I do not think employment creation will be happened on 2010.

I am not sure i understood your question. Is it H1B interview date or H1B stamping. In case of H1B stamping, the dates are normally booked but keep checking vhs..... website and you may find a slot. I used to check everyday and after a month i saw few slots available on december. However, the consulate answers to emails promptly and i was once told that for H1B stamping can be done if notified 14 days in advance.

My Father is applying for Citizenship in Nov 10. If he becomes Citizen then can I file I485 under F3(married sons and daughters of citizen parents). Category and port priority date of May 03 from my employment base I-485 to I-485 under F3?

I'm also in the same situation. My attorney says wait till USCIS figures out that there are duplicates and sends a notice to withdraw one of the petitions. Of course, the checks would be en-cashed for both the petitions.

After the stab at Sony that Canon made in the press release stating they were releasing ~ 20 cameras this year, you don't think they'd let Sony get that far ahead, do you? :p
In my opinion, one of the more intriguing product announcements from Nikon today was the Coolpix 8700. If it improves significantly from the Sony, that could be a killer product. Right now, Canon is lacking a bit in the true consumer DSLR market. But then again, PMA is right around the corner. Thats a very good question.Off late I am seeing lot of people moving back.I can quote my friend's brother.He lived in this country for the last nearly 18 years.He has 37 patents to his credit.He started his company in 2000 and sold that company to Motorola and currently he is a venture capitalist to Bio-tech start up.I was talking to him other day and hes going back for Good in July.
He was of the opinion that you have to always ride the wave.The gold rush of 2000 and before is gone here.It was his opinion.
I think the main reason is people have slogged here and they want to take atleast some benefit of GC.We are contributing Social Security and you will not see a single penny what you paid to Uncle Sam unless you have a GC.

Hello,
When I first took my medical tests for I-485 with a doctor, the doctor put an additional document stating that: "I have a positive PPD that was read as 9mm of induration. A NORMAL chest x-ray was read. The patient is refered to their PCP or County Health Department for evaluation and possible treatment with INH for 9 months".
Now I received the RFE from CIS asking for the following:
"The form I-693 submitted is hereby returned because you TB test results were not documented appropriately. Additional documentation submitted from Civil Surgeon indicates that you were possibly being refered to the County Health Department for evaluation and have received teh follow up treatment.
The I-693 form must be properly endorsed by Civil Surgeon to reflect the following:
-> The date you first refered to the local health dept for evaluation
-> Name and address of the health dept
-> results of the X-ray and other TB test
-> Based on which you are medically cleared for adjustment status
"
If anyone had similar experiences, please let me know how to proceed on this issue.
PS: I got very late appointment with County Health department, so If I go to a private TB specialist and If I take the results to the original doctor and can he able to update my I-693 based on the TB specialist results?
If I go on 9 month medication will CIS wait 9 months to further process my petition or hold my EAD status?
If I go to a new doctor and If he gives me a new set of medical results, will CIS overlook previous doctor's comments?
I dont have much time as I just had 20 days left to send back my results to CIS.

I don't intend to get a second H-1.. The second job that I want to do is just 3-5hrs a week and dont want any sponsorship for it.
Even if you work 1 hour a week, you need an H1 to be able to put on payroll at the other company. Otherwise, it constitutes illegal employment.

I�m in 4th year of H1b and I485 - 180 days completed. I�m looking for full time jobs and many of the companies are asking for EAD for full time jobs and some of my friends suggested use H1b instead of EAD. Pls help me in answering the below questions
1. What is the problem I will face if I use EAD instead of H1b?
2. Job titles are most of them are different like Senior Software Engineer, MSI Systems Integrators, Data engineer etc, where as my appointment letter/I140 shows as a Programmer. Will it be difficult to raise AC21 though the some of responsibilities are similar.
3. Employer can revoke I140 even If I�m working with him and crossed 180 days of I485.

As far as I know/understsand : to be eligible for H1B visa for 2010, a company should applke for H1B on april 1st 2010, so that the person gets it by october 1 2010 right??
if the 65000 limit is still available , lets say after october 1st 2010, can the company still apply for H1B after october 1st or november or even ion december, as long as the H1B cap 65000 is still available??

You can immigrate base dupon family sponsorship, employment or just the point system without employment.
I qualified by point system without employment offer. You can take the test on line for free to see if you qualify by the point system.
