I have one question?
What if my employer cancels I140 and I don't have any other job on my hand? This can be a possibility for me in near future. I am searching for a new job and my employer is going to cancel I140.
Is it good to wait for any RFE or denial and if it occurs, just sending them new EVL of any consulting firm (with or without project) will help?

When my attorney filed the I-485 last month, he mentioned the correct name and the mispelled name in the brackets.
Any comments from senior members will be helpful.

He found following issues with Birth certificate. Does USCIS rejects or REF I-485 for following reason ?
1) His mother�s name spelled differently in his Birth Certificate. (One letter is missing)
2) His wife's Birth Affidavit has different spelling for Father�s name. (One letter is different)
3) Is first name enought in Birth Certificate or it needs full name ?

People made same mistake nth times. This text (last year bill) was replaced with new compromised text. Forget about SKILLLLLLLLLL
In CIR 2007 (S.1348) Title V, subtitle B is skill act of 2007 SEC.524 says about people with masters and higher degrees will not be counted against the numerical caps. This says it is amending Section 201(b)(1) (8 U.S.C. 1151(b)(1)) which is about the numerical caps. As this is in the section of backlog reduction does this mean that those who already are in the process and is backlogged will be given green cards out the numerical cap?

I congratulate everybody for getting the opportunity to file 485.I am truely happy for u guys.
I am one of the very few people who can not apply for 485 as I have just changed my company and labour yet has to be filed.
I just wanted to to know Is it still possible that they will bring some kind of amendment(From CIR bill) which wouldn't allow me to extend my H1 Visa after 6 years?.I am so scared when I read on numberusa that some amendments are coming back to vote.Are we really in trouble?.
I just need some lodgical reasons that it won't happen.

At the time of filing my application I just used one address.
Somehow I didn't know you could use Permanent address and current address.
You have used "one" address in I485, the same should be reflected in G325 - Consult with your lawyer.
I'm not sure but I guess my lawyer didn't file G325 form.
Is filing G325 form something mandatory ?

There was a report on Mathew Oh's site that
some people travelled in 2008 got a messed up I-94
forms( printing bug). So whoever travelled in 2008
may want to have a very good look at their I-94 and
correct it if needed.

The agency is recalling such defective I-94 cards for replacement I-94. Reportedly these defective I-94 cards were issued at the Calgary Airport in Canada and potentially other airports as well. Those who have such defective I-94 should contact Deferred Inspection posts or any Port of Entry for issuance of replacement I-94. Defective I-94 can create a number of problems down the road unless they obtain replacement I-94.

My Husband�s priority date is Oct 2003 (EB3). My Employer is willing to start for GC in EB2. Can We use my husband�s EB3 Oct 2003 priority date ?
