You said that by AUG 2008 bulletin, your dates are current.. Which date we should refer to? Date from I-140 or date from I-485?

EAD start date: 1st Nov 2007 (Didnt start using it yet)
Occupation Title: Computer Software Enginner
OES Code: 15-1031
New Position: Sales Consultant
For the Sales consultant position the description is much more technical and macthes 50% with whats Computer Software Enginner.
1. What are the immigration steps that need to be considered for the portability(AC21) ?
2. If new corporation says we cannot do the portability because of say OES code or something else what are the options to still take the job ?
Let me know !!

All this inventory etc dosent make sense ,
Pending EB2 cases for china are around 2000 as per USCIS inventory .
but as per DOS Demand data its only 500 ..
God Knows whats Happening .

Not sure why you want to go to Consulate in India and why you have to mention to them about the 22 days. H1 will not be processed in the Consulate in India, it will be processed only here. If you are saying that in future when you go to the US Consulate in India for stamping then its not needed to mention about the 22 days, since you filed before the I-94 expiration. Do have a soft copy of the FexEx receipt saved for your future use.

As long as I-485 is pending or approved.
2. Can I look for any kind of job on EAD or there is any restrictions?
Technically, Yes. But keep a job offer(in similar occupation as GC labor) in hand
3. Is it possible that my former employer can cancel my EAD?
No, employer has no say on EAD/AP/I-485. But the original employer can cancel I140 and that in turn would trigger I485/EAD/AP cancellation. Use AC21 to avoid getting denial.
4. If I find a new job, do I have to use immigration lawyers of my former employer to help renew my EAD, travel document etc. from time to time or I can hire another immigration lawyer?
You can use any immigration lawyer, or you can do it yourself. I have renewed my EAD/AP myself last 5 years.

My GC is based on future employment. I am working for company A on H1, company B has applied I 485 and I 140 also approved. I will be completing 5 years of H1 early next year.

I travelled on mine 3 months after it was issued ( delay in getting wife's visa). I was questioned at the airport about the delay in travel. Explained the delay and got entry. It may be possible that they may like to speak to your immediate boss (carry his office and cell numbers)

My I797 and I94 expired on Sept 30 2009. I have applied for an H1B extension on Sept 26 2009 using premiuim processing.

Any word on when PP for I-140 will come to life?
USCIS said PP is suspended till 8/1 and later will analyze the situation to bring it back. The analysis is talking more than a month. It is known that they have been busy people this past month. Is the I-140 application flood effecting their analysis?

I think my scenario is little complicated.I have my I140 (EB3) cleared with previous employer and my current company has filed new labor and I140 (EB2). They are trying to capture the priority date of my old I140 approval (August 2006).
While my current I140 is still going on, can I apply for I1-485 due to sudden improvement shown for EB2 category in September Visa bulletin.
Please advice.

In six months we were speaking English and running around like normal kids. Most of the time, we blended in. But we knew weren�t supposed to be here, and we lived with a lot of fear.
I started acting when I was 11, almost as a fluke. One day, we went to visit our cousins, and they were on their way to try-outs for a community theater production of �Oliver!� It was through a program put on by the city, to get disadvantaged kids off the street.
