I did not know that ... So the company contracting someone has to maintain an I9 information?

My current company's CEO is retiring and the other partners are forming a new company. The current company will continue as a corporation and in the new corporation the current CEO will have 10% share. The new co will start with the current client base, employees, equipment, web site and use the current company's name as a DBA.
I am on H1-B visa with the current company and in the process for Permanent Residency with my I-140 approved and awaiting for the Priority Date to become current .
If the current company terminated me and i got re-hired with the new co.. what would i need to do for my H1-B visa and the Green card process. Please advice ASAP.

I understand that after getting your 45day letter your case will be in the BEC database and will be processed in order.
Now I just saw people on this forum with PD Aug 2003 got approved 10/17.
and I know a friend with pd oct 2003 got approved in April.
Suppose that the guy got approved 10/17 was input to the system after the other luckier guy, the most conservative estimation is now pd Aug 2003 is being processed.
Anybody heard of any later PD being approved recently? from DBEC?
I'm just thinking, if we share the pd/approval information on this forum we'll have better estimates about our cases and have a somewhat less stressful life.

The reflection in the wet sand is good & colors are nice, but I agree with Don that there is too much sky for the scale of the figure. I had to look for the silhouette, because the clouds drew my eye to the left of center. A little saturation work would probably make the colors even more appealing. Just my opinion, your mileage may vary. ;)

I think mom's in the forum can answer this better since i am sure many of them took short term disablity during delivery and subsequent months. My wife took it twice for the birth of our children and I dont think it is an issue.

Take some funds from any money that you put aside this year for charitable causes or temple donations. All that you contribute is money well spent - as eventually it would benefit a number of people and entire families. So helping people better their lives is like contributing to charitable causes. Even $50 is good to start with. Hope that motivates all.

I must say it made me spend some time to figure out what it is. Initially I thought it was something square floating in a container of water or a pond. Then I studied it for 30 sec. or so and realized it's a waterfall. Then I found myself really studying it to grasp what you're showing. From the "does it catch your eye and hold you" perspective, it worked for me. From the "this is a beautiful shot that I have to print and hang on a wall, I'd probably vote no. But I am going to go back and look at it a second time because I'm intrigued.
