I think many of consultants those came here with small companies might not got payment initially until you the project ataleast for few weeks. That period of time is the eligibility for illegal status.
Well they will easily find out from your SSN number if one is on payroll or not. I am seriously looking into this matter of getting illegal and many of my friends agree. Once the bill passes in its current form we should get advise from a good lawyer to convert status from legal to illegal. It sounds so insane when I say changing for legal to illegal..but that is the hit thing these days.

Well, what is the point in saying it now, he should have said it in the 90s and early 2000 when industry was booming and people found a career path in coming to the US.
Right now, so much work is outsourced and it is continuing. Very difficult to get a IT job in US on h1b and IT consulting on h1b also facing so many hurdles. For any new immigrant on a software job who wants to get a h1b visa and green card - it is not an easy task.

Come on we need to learn to forget the cold war days. This is 21st century and the age of facebook and other social networking platforms. the world is getting more connected and there will soon be no place for fighter planes any more. What we need is "food" and "water".....
Nature is showing us again and again the futility of our ambitions (regional and international) through her rather quite infrequent thrashings these days....

I live less than 15 miles from TSC, my I-140 is approved from texas, but my wife's case(dependent on me) went to CSC. I don't know mine yet. Is CSC good or bad not sure. I am seeing they are approving EAD and AP faster than than TSC/NSC. My application was filed at NSC on july 20.

I don�t think he will have any standing against you in court of law. If you have ur documentation strong then nothing to worry. He is just trying to give you hard time. Even if he does so take him to all levels, I am sure at the end of day you will not loose anything but he may get burned by this. I filed my I-485 (Nov 2004 EB3), but my old labor ( EB3 Mar 2003) got cleared. I am going to apply another labor in EB2 and move this EB3 priority date to that EB2, that way my case will be current.
Not very much sure about its possibility, any suggestions.
But coming back to the point, you are in a better boat by not filing, you can atleasr make it as EB2 and get the Green card Faster.

Read the message clearly before posting. He already mentioned that she could not win the H1B lottery.
She can still try for not for profit companies... and if she lands with a job their situation will be better off then waiting for the next years lottery or waiting for his 2005 PD to become current
