Less than 800 contributions is such a shame.Assuming all the 3000 are affected by the retrogression it just doesnt make sense not to donate anything at all by the remainder of the members. People will have to understand how much of a difference it would make if everyone contributes.

Unfotunately what you are saying sounds cool except that its not true.
Job offer has to be valid on the day petition filed or the specific date mentioned.
If the job offer no longer exist, employer need to withdraw the H1. Until and unless employer does so, he is on hook to pay the employee.
The only argument against employee here is , employee did not report to work. If employee can prove (through email copies etc) that he actually tried to report but employer barred him, employer must pay the wage till the date H1 was sent for withdrawal.
Filing an H1 means that a job offer exist as of the day requested in the petition . For example, if the petition has a start date of Oct 1, 2010, and the petition is not withdrawn, employer is stating that he has a valid job opening starting October 1. No additional job offer/invite is required. The only time such invite *May Be* required (at PoE) is if the employee is travelling much later than the start date specified in the Petition.

wonder if you guys have found any good trading strategy using options.
having you tried doing system development.
something as simple as buying etfs when rsi2 is below 2 or in other words its beaten down and you are expecting a turnaround.
would like to know if playing options on such short term( 1to 5 days) would generate profitabloe results or not.
do you guys mind sharing some ideas

I am working on EAD for company B. Company B filed H1 transfer for me before May 2007. I heard that You can transfer you H1 and EAD both with new company but I did not aware about this rule, I started working on EAD. Is it possible to go back on H1 which company B filed? I have not yet used AP for travelling abroad.

I have started taking printouts of the instructions and handing it to people - hoping that will increase the probability of them calling. Also, ask friends at work to call even if they already have their GC or citizenship. If you are a couple, both of you can call separately.

Fully agree with each word you said. Many people with legit US education (not TVU kind that many not so educated people on this forum are taking shelter under the umbra of) who have been in the US for more than 10 years are still lawfully waiting in the line. And this idiot with a BCOM and MCA ( correspondence course from IGNOU) is dreaming of porting into EB2 and screw us up. Shame on USCIS and Shame on DOL. We have to understand that there is a myriad of laws; INA, CFR's; USCIS policy binding memos; internal memos; appeals decisions, court cases, precedent aao decisions, precedent legal cases.
Now; the ac21 memo is a memo that uscis officers have to follow. However; the memo is not in accordanc with INA 245 or AC21.
INA 245 states that a valid and approved 140 is needed for a person to get lawful permanent residency.
ac21 says that a person can change jobs after 485 has been pending for more then 180 days.
The above two things are the law.
In ac21 law; it doesn't say anything about the scenario if 140 is revoked by employer. It is totally silent to it.
USCIS in their memos realized that ac21 law would not have any meaning if the employer still controlled the 140 if a person was eligible for ac21; therefore, they issued the memo (memo is not law but binding; memos can be changed; however, there has been nothing public about any possible change).
Memo is clarification which they have been following for many years and as far as I know still binding.

Waiting for CIR bill for EB relif is not worthy. It will unlikley be passed in lame-duck congress, as t needs heavy conference. It may be the good idea to push SkIL bill or somesort of EB relief provison (like budget reconcilation bill last year) in other bills to be passed in lame duck period.

If PD is not current, they cannot accept the application, the just have to return the applications citing the same reason. If they accept the application they have to receipt it and if they reject, then they need to have qualified reasons for it... Not having available visas is not an acceptable reason to reject the receipted applications. It goes to shelves untill visa number becomes available... Note. if they receipt, they need to process EAD/AP and work on the application like any other.

The validity of the filing is determined in the initial processing; and initial processing is complete only if you receive a receipt notice or you get your packet back. If you get your packet back, this is not denial; this is rejection. Denial is when you get yor receipt notice but your 485 is denied.
Currently, June Filers who filed mid-month are getting their receipts which means we will know our fate only probably by the end of month or even later. keep your fingers crossed.

Since IV has contact e-mails for all its members, it can also send periodic e-mails on its activities, funding drives, recent achievements and ask for the members to contibute. This will be helpful for those who dont visit the site very often. For Example, recent update given by pappu inspired me to sign up for monthly contribution. But that would happen only if i visited the site very often. I would have missed it if i am not a regular visitor to the site.

In response to my service request on 9th Sept 2009, my I485 has been transferred to the USCIS Hialeah Florida office for further processing. Normally I -485 cases are forwarded to local offices for the purposes of scheduling an in-person interview. In my case I live in New York and no way connected to FL. I am curious anybody or any of your friend�s have similar experience.
