I understand what everybody says, but some people are honest and you have to believe. Can somebody who is knowledgeable on the subject, post a reply please?
well you guys are the kings of jumping ahead of the line using labor substitution...how can any of us be knowledgable on the subject...contact unitednations or ppl like him who "help" the skirters of the law.

Great Work Pasupuleti in getting the appoinment. As discussed on http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=260 we met with the Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren's Senior Counsel Ur Jaddou at the Washington DC office. It will be great to keep reinforcing our message to them.

Found out from the Senator's office that my case has been approved. Attorney was able to call and confirm. No change in online status though.

Hi All,
Sorry to bring this thread back.
See, what IV few members have written. I found them again in user control panel along with RED dots. I stopped caring about RED dots.
But, there are some comments that really hurts.
These are the comments few IV members wrote about my posting while giving a RED dot. Though I stopped caring about RED/Green's
One must behave like a civilized person. We came here with atleast Bachelors Degree. Some of them with Master Degree / PhD's. Majority of us are educated and know how to behave with people.
Do you know , how it hurts some one?. Are they doing in Green Card frustration? or Are they doing it wanted?.

my sincere advice to you, being a physician myself.
TB test needs min of 48 hrs to be read and if positive, you HAVE to do a chest x-ray. the immunizations are ok.
get her here on the next flight and get the medical done nxt week.
i had my medical on june 26 and i had to literaaly storm the office of the doctor to get my report done, and i mailed to my attorney......oh i can never forget that day!! it was a race against time. and am glad its over.

When should I start rumbling?
Filed Date : Aug 30th 2010
Receiept date : Aug 30th 2010
SLUD's thrice : 09/03,09/10 and 11/05
E-filed, Texas Service center and sent in supporting docs.
No emails or anything so far... Should i wait the whole 90 days before starting to make some noises?
I filed my EAD on the same date at Nebraska recieved that last week.
I just cannot understand why they need to do this filing and can't make EAD/AP a single doc and valid for two years.. Just plain frustrated. :mad:

Personally I do think if DREAM ACT is passed, it will be easier to voice another bill to be passed to allow legal working immigrants (EB-1, 2, 3) to get green cards. I said this based on logical reason----people from DREAM ACT are illegal immigrants, so if DREAM ACT is passed, illegals will be turned into legal immigrants. So by logical reasons, legal working immigrants gain legal entry to US for jobs or for schools before, they should get green cards by logical and reasoning approach because they have paid taxes and expensive international tuition fees for years to help the US economy before.
Also, since NOT all EB legal working immigrants have US advanced degrees in Science & Medicine, therefore, similarly by logical and reasoning approach, any US advanced degrees in Science & Medicine graduates should have a chance or path to get green cards or to start up companies in US to help the US economy better. More legal immigrants buy houses and set up companies in US, more jobs created and more prosperous the US economy will be

I havnt received my AP applied Jun 29 2007.Nebraska.
Whenever we call them they have a standard answer 30 days,then 60 days.
Latest 30 days.
Its the same for GC too.
They are least bothered.CHC must have been everything.Is every immigrant genious,scientists,doctors,engineers like they have argued.They cannot build wall with only so called expected genious.

but even with this big announcement tomorrow, we still only have 140,000 visas and keep in mind USCIS has just been averaging about 100,000 per year. (so about 40,000 get wasted every year)
All all this does is to push the bottleneck further down the pipeline.
the only benefit I see is that it helps with filing of AP and EAD which does not help someone like me with my 485 already pending

With due respect, please refrain from posting pessimistic rants originating from unofficial sources. This may be true, but common sense should tell everyone to wait for such news to come from official sources.
These are things beyond our control. Best not to get anyone's panties into a bunch over such news. If the GC is not possible, that is still OK. Move back to the country of origin and life will go on - thoug not as planned.
The last thing we should be doing is whine about our troubles.

HI i got my traffic citation this August 15th 2009. That too driving 35 mph in a 30 mph zone, 5 miles over the speed limit and i paid a fine of 125$ plus a 1 point to DMV history. That is the only citation i have till now.

I'm also suffering like you for years but doing a RE-FILE just for managing bad odds is not reasonable. If they reject your application - You should be able to resend it from FEDEX/USPS signature and receipt Notice even after Aug 17th.
I'm not a lawyer and i've nothing against Rajaiv Khanna but on a general i'm advising you that " Any lawyer wants their clients case get complicated and convoluted". By doing this you/we are just complicating our case and offering "Money making" potential to already Rich , Wealthy ,Cut throat Lawyers.

You can sue this guy successfully there is no doubt, but you should have guts to do.
