Instead of acting like the world class company they could be, Apple comes across as fools.
I must admit, I'm much happier being seen with my Galaxy S.
When one is seen in this town (New York) with an iPhone they look at you like "oh, you're one of those snobs".
Yet the irony is they're a dime a dozen here.

I too care way more about what a stranger who sees me using a phone might think than I do how it actually works. All these dime a dozen sheep buying iPhones because they're easier to use and more elegant than Android phones are total losers. I don't buy from either of these any more after being introduced to Gomusicnow.com (or any of the other 25 similar sites). 9 cents per song, or ~$.80-$1.5 per ALBUM. Quality 320 for most newer albums and 220-300 for older. Can't beat it.
It seems that gomusicnow.com is one of many, many successors to allofmp3.com, the first russian website that took advantage of russian laws to sell music very cheaply without paying the rights holders. So if Apple sells a song for $1.29, they pay $0.90 to the record company. No idea what Amazon pays when they sell the same song for $0.69. gomusicnow.com doesn't pay a penny.
Their legality is let's say dubious. What is more dubious is _your_ legality when you download music from their site outside of Russia (within Russia, it seems reasonably legal). Record companies and artists receive exactly the same payment as if you copy music from a friend or download it from some random website - none.
Top it off Mp3 is smaller at the same bit rate

802.11n isn't due for ratification until 2008. There is a "Draft N v 2.0" due out next year that is supposedly close to what 802.11n will be but there's no guarantee anything will work until the final spec is released in 2008.
As long as it works with the 802.11[whatever] that the iTV ships with, it'll work for me. :)

The program in the US Army (basic training) was designed to burn 5000 calories a day. Basically you were moving 16 hours a day. Just can think of doing 12k or 30k calories a day.

I prefer the clean look of the current versions as well. It would be nice if Apple would actually implement a system with unified look.
The iPad and iOS get away with it because you have one window at full screen to look at. With a computer, I want my components to look alike and behave alike as they sit side by side.
If you're going to add this crappy eye-candy, at the very least give us the ability to reskin all of it.

Personal responsibility means making informed decisions, and you can't make an informed decision if the information isn't available. I think that restaurants like that should make nutritional info easily available. That, and quit advertising unhealthy food in ways that imply that it is healthy.
